There’s a lot more than just world-class rodeo at the Days of ’47 Arena at the Utah State Fairpark. Whether it’s finger licking BBQ, live music and dancing, or a taste of the western lifestyle, you’re sure to find something for everyone in the family. Gates open to Fun Zone at 4:30 P.M. so be sure to plan for a fun-filled day at the Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo. FREE ADMISSION to Frontier Fun Zone area.

NATIVE AMERICAN ENCAMPMENT
In the heart of the fan zone, take a walk through Native American history where your family can witness authentic Lakota Tribe families as they educate visitors on their culture and watch them perform their tribal dances.

PIONEER CAMP
Experience life on the pioneer trail. Families who were a part of the 1997 reenactment of the wagon trail from Mississippi to Utah will be on hand to interact with the fans while displaying handmade tools and custom weaving.

CHARRO ENCAMPMENT
Returning in 2024, will be a Charro Encampment. A Charro is a Mexican horseman or cowboy, typically one in elaborate traditional dress. Felix Santana is not only a Charro but he is a third-generation dancing horse trainer. He performs at PRCA Rodeos across the United States with his Andalusian stallion, Romano.

PONY RIDES
Kids 12 and under can take one FREE ride on their favorite pony. Additional rides subject to a fee.

MECHANICAL BULL RIDES
Think you have what it takes to be a professional bull rider? Test out your skills on the mechanical bull inside the Fun Zone area for FREE.

LONGHORN DISPLAY
See real life Texas Longhorns. A total of eight longhorn cattle with 8ft horns will be on display in the Fun Zone. Come down and get your photo taken with them.

LIVE MUSIC
Appearing nightly on music stage in the heart of the Fun Zone between the petting zoo and KSL Expo tent from 6:00 – 6:45 and after the Rodeo to 11 p.m.
